A definition problem
In its court filing, xAI says Minnesota's definition of "nudification" goes way too far. The language is vague enough that it could accidentally criminalize ordinary photos, like shirtless guys or anyone wearing swimwear.
With the law hitting the books this weekend, xAI wants an emergency federal injunction to stop enforcement right now. Developers face impossible legal risks if routine image tools trigger state law violations, the company warned.
