Who we are

CryptoCMD ("we", "us") is an independent informational website that reviews cryptocurrency casinos, betting sites, exchanges and related services. We do not operate gambling services, do not accept deposits and do not process payments. This policy explains what limited data we collect when you visit the site and how we handle it.

What we collect

We do not require registration and do not knowingly collect names, e-mail addresses or payment details. The data we process is limited to:

  • Server logs. Standard technical records (IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp) kept for security and troubleshooting.
  • Outbound-click statistics. When you click a link that leads to a partner site (our /go/ links), we record the time of the click, an anonymised (hashed) form of your IP address, your browser user-agent, the referring page and an approximate country. We use this only to measure which pages are useful and to detect click fraud. We cannot identify you personally from this data.

Cookies and analytics

We set two kinds of cookies:

  • Functional cookies. geo_cc remembers the country you pick in the country switcher, and cc_consent remembers your analytics consent choice. They identify nothing about you.
  • Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help readers — aggregate page views, referral sources and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Analytics runs by default; you can turn it off at any time with the "Turn off" button in the small notice shown on your first visit, and change your choice later by deleting the cc_consent cookie.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we have not enabled any Google advertising features.

Legal bases and retention

We process the data above on the basis of legitimate interest (site security, fraud prevention and aggregate statistics). Raw logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or reduced to aggregate, non-identifying statistics.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent visitor data. When you follow an outbound link, the destination website becomes responsible for any data you provide there — please read its own privacy policy. Partner programs may know that a visit originated from CryptoCMD; that is inherent to how affiliate links work.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold almost no identifying data, in most cases there will be nothing linked to you — but you can always contact us and we will check.

Children

This website is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over (or the higher legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
