Ranking the best NFL playoff teams
Here are our rankings of the teams remaining in the NFL playoffs, with Super Bowl odds provided by the best NFL betting sites.

1. Baltimore Ravens (+500).
The Ravens may not have the lowest odds for the divisional round title, but as I've written in my NFL playoff predictions, this is the best team in the NFL and, in my opinion, a major contender to win. That's even easier to prove after they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round and have a tough showdown with the Buffalo Bills next weekend.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (+350).
I'm not ready to give up on the Chiefs just yet. That's what happens when you win two Super Bowls and sleepwalk your way to 15 wins in a crowded AFC - you tend to earn the benefit of the doubt. We've already seen what Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and all the Kansas City Chiefs players are capable of when the tumbler switches to the postseason, and I'm still waiting for that time to come.

You can bet on the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl (+350) using our exclusive BetMGM bonus code SBRBONUS1550, which includes $50 in bonus bets and up to $1,500 in additional bonus bets if your first bet loses.

3. Detroit Lions (+340).
Injuries have derailed Detroit, though I think the public is discounting what this team is capable of when Ben Johnson's offense is working as it should. Obviously, our top sports betting apps don't offer such discounts on first place in the NFC ahead of next week's matchup with the Washington Commanders.

4. Buffalo Bills (+550).
How can you not be impressed with what Josh Allen did to one of the league's best defenses on Sunday? The Bills quarterback put on a show, reminding everyone why he was once the favorite to win the NFL MVP, and the Buffalo defense made Bo Nix look like a rookie in his playoff debut. I'm still leaning towards Baltimore in next weekend's matchup between these teams, but I wouldn't be surprised if either side can pull off a Super Bowl win.

5. Philadelphia Eagles (+500).
I'll be honest: After Sunday's win over the Green Bay Packers, I didn't feel any better about this team's ability to go the long distance. But I already felt like this team had a solid foundation after an uneven NFC regular season, and I still believe Jalen Hurts is capable of more than he showed in the wild-card round. He needs to be so the team can beat Baltimore, Kansas City and Detroit.

6. Los Angeles Rams (+5500).
The Rams are a Super Bowl contender in my playoff predictions, so don't take this ranking as a lack of confidence in Los Angeles based on one or four games. Objectively, this team is no better than the “core five” that have dominated the rankings all year, but I believe Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford will make the right calls at the right moments to beat these teams. This price for a title in DraftKings is a gift.

7. Minnesota Vikings (+1800).
It's too bad the Vikings will have to play the Rams in the first round of the NFL playoffs, because I truly believe this team has what it takes to get to New Orleans. The problem is that all that talent on offense and chaos on defense won't matter much if Sam Darnold plays like he did in Week 18. That's why Minnesota is so far down this list compared to the other top contenders for the postseason.

8. Washington Commanders (+3000).
I picked the Commanders to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round, and I wouldn't be surprised if they give Detroit's defense all they can handle in the divisional round. This defense is still not up to the level of most (any?) of the other teams left in the playoffs, even if Daniels plays like a quarterback you can trust in the postseason.

9. Houston Texans (+5500).
The Texans somewhat shocked the Los Angeles Chargers in their wild-card debut after looking completely lifeless over the final month of the regular season. So which version will show up next weekend against the two-time champs? I'm skeptical that Houston's offense has found a magic elixir after losing two key players to injury; I'll be stunned if this isn't the end of the road for DeMeco Ryans and Co.
