Super Bowl Halftime Show Odds 2025: What will Kendrick Lamar's first song be?

The first song of the Super Bowl halftime show sets the tone for the entire performance, and Kendrick Lamar has a lot to choose from. This is certainly reflected in the odds for the first song of the Super Bowl halftime show, with no clear favorite.

Every year, the biggest event of the year involving the intersection of sports and pop culture is the Super Bowl halftime show, featuring one of the biggest musical artists of 2025: Kendrick Lamar.

King Kendrick will take center stage on Feb. 9, marking the second time in the last four years that a West Coast hip-hop artist has performed at a Super Bowl semifinal show after Dr. Dre headlined in 2022.

Here's an early look at the odds for the first song from Lamar's halftime performance at the Super Bowl show (odds from FanDuel Ontario):

Favorites for the first song of the Super Bowl halftime show in 2025
Euphoria (+250).
“Euphoria” is a favorite to be the first song Lamar will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show, and it's certainly an interesting choice.

The unexpected release from April 2024 was one of Lamar's early diss tracks dedicated to Drake last year. It followed three previous Drake diss tracks, and will certainly be the one to start the timeslot with.

Humble (+310).
The song “Humble” is the most viewed video on Lamar's YouTube page with one billion views. The second most viewed is “All the Stars” with 479 million views.

It would make sense for Lamar to start with a song like this, but as we saw with Usher's performance last year, the most obvious answer isn't always the right one.

Not Like Us (+310)
“Not Like Us” is one of Lamar's latest releases and has become one of the most buzzed about songs of 2024. It's another diss track aimed at Drake, but it achieved much more commercial success than “Euphoria.”

Along with “Humble,” the two songs at +310 are appropriately ranked as favorites, as they seem like the most likely options.

2025 Contenders for the first song of the Super Bowl halftime show
King Kunta (+430).
Along with the longshot we highlighted, the song “King Kunta” has become one of the most popular tracks from Lamar's third studio album, To Pimp a Butterfly.

Compared to the previous three tracks, it will open the Super Bowl halftime show in a very different way, as it has more funk than pure hip-hop. I'm not sure if it's a likely choice, but personally, I'd love to hear her as a halftime show opener.

DNA (+500).
The song “DNA” is another track from Lamar's fourth studio album Damn. He released it in April 2017, and the album immediately exploded thanks to a slew of massive tracks, including this one.

It seems like a less likely opener compared to the four we've talked about so far, as it fits in better if it transitions into another song.

That said, he's already started performances with “DNA.”

A.D.H.D (+500).
As someone who has been listening to Lamar since his debut album, I hope we get at least a couple songs from Section.80. The song “A.D.H.D” is the biggest favorite among them to open the halftime show.

However, it's a lesser-known song than the others, and it's not much of a stretch to believe that he'll kick off perhaps the biggest performance of his career with a track that came out when Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jaden Daniels was 11 years old.

2025 First song on the Super Bowl halftime show
Alright (+1300)
I'm listing the song “Alright” as a longshot because it's surprising to see it priced at +1300 when I assumed it would be traded among the contenders.

Judging by last year's performance, this song will set the tone as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg did when they opened the 2021 show with “The Next Episode”.

2025 Betting on the first song of the Super Bowl halftime show
I would say that the best strategy to use when betting on the Super Bowl halftime show is to be careful online and look for leaks. You can rarely predict what will happen, but you can still find some benefit by reacting quickly to information that hits social media.

I'd rather be right and get the right song for, say, +150 than jump on the +500 odds and just donate that money to our best Super Bowl betting sites.

Right now, if I had to bet on a song, I'd pick “Not Like Us.” It was one of the most popular songs of the year and is very recognizable. The +310 odds aren't bad either, as you can assume it will be an overwhelming favorite a month before the Super Bowl. A win of $10 would yield a profit of $31.
