Kansas City gained home field advantage in the playoffs leading up to the Super Bowl and is looking to host the AFC Championship for the sixth time in the last seven seasons.
It's no surprise that Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and others are in peak form at the most crucial time of the season, and that's saying a lot considering their league-best 15-1 record. It's also what we've been predicting all season long.

The Lions were the overall favorites as recently as two weeks ago, but a tough loss to the Bills dropped them to the “second tier” despite their record-breaking season.
Detroit is back at the top of the sportsbook and has the lowest odds of any team in the NFC after the Eagles stumbled last week against the rival Chiefs. The Lions had no such problems in a 34-17 win at Chicago, and will enter Monday's game as favorites to win their 14th game of the season.

The Bills looked far more impressive in Sunday's rout of the Jets than they did in last week's narrow victory over the New England Patriots.

Despite Allen's unimpressive performance the past two weeks, the Bills' star QB still made superhuman throws, demonstrating why he's the favorite to be MVP. He's the No. 1 reason to make this bet on DraftKings: a $10 bet will yield a $60 profit.

Another week, another win for the Ravens, who picked up their second biggest win of the year with a 31-2 victory in Houston on Christmas Day.
As we wrote in our comparison of Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in the race for MVP, Baltimore's star passer is having one of the best seasons in NFL history, and the defense has completely turned things around over the last month and found dominant form ahead of the postseason.

Still, the general consensus is that this team is at a lower level despite having two of the best coaches in the league in head coach Kevin O'Connell and defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

Remember when the Rams seemed dead after injuries and bad luck got them off to a 1-4 start?
After a week of rest, they have nine wins in 11 games and now have a good chance to win the NFC West after a 13-9 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17. It wasn't the prettiest win, but it still allowed Los Angeles to make the playoffs for the sixth time in eight seasons under Sean McVay.
It was also the third consecutive game in which the defense didn't score fewer than 10 points. Even though it didn't happen against the best opponents, it's a damn good result for a team that has proven playmakers on offense as well.
I like to bet long odds with a proven coach and quarterback, and it's hard to find a better duo than McVay and Matthew Stafford, who have already hoisted the Lombardi Trophy over their heads once. If they do it again, a $10 bet on DraftKIngs will net a $350 profit.

The AFC has won two straight games thanks to the dominance of a Chiefs team that extended the streak to 7-3 for this conference over the last 10 years. Three of the five favorites to win this year's Super Bowl represent the AFC.
The NFC has won four of the five Super Bowls prior to this one. The NFC champion has also entered the Big Game as the clear favorite three years in a row, so don't be surprised if the pendulum swings in that direction soon.

Once again, we will likely have to wait until kickoff to bet on the Super Bowl total, which has been getting higher and higher in recent years.
Five of the last eight Super Bowls have had a total of at least 50 points, which has only happened nine times in the previous 50 years. Last year's total of 46.5 was the lowest since 2016, though after the Chiefs scored the decisive touchdown in overtime, the Over was justified by 0.5 points.
