πΊπΈ MelBet does not accept players from United States
You can still read our review, but signing up from United States will not work. Browsing from somewhere else?
crypto sportsbooks that do accept United States
MelBet has been taking bets since 2012, and the scale shows. The sportsbook runs thousands of markets a day across football, cricket, kabaddi, table tennis and a long tail of competitions most books ignore. If your sport is obscure, there is a decent chance MelBet prices it.
What you need to know first, though, is where it does not operate.
Who can actually use it
MelBet is closed to the United States and the United Kingdom. It is also shut out of most of the regulated European Union β France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Ireland, Poland, the Netherlands and more. We checked this ourselves from a Polish connection and got a block page rather than a homepage.
So who is it for? Asia, Africa and Latin America. India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka on one side; Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Egypt on the other. Canada is in. If you are reading this from Chicago or Manchester, scroll back up to our toplist β MelBet will not show for you, and that is deliberate.
Crypto
Four coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and Litecoin. That covers the essentials without pretending to be a crypto-native casino. USDT on TRC-20 is the practical choice β confirmation is quick and the network fee is negligible, which matters when the alternative in many MelBet markets is a local bank transfer that takes days.
Deposits land once the blockchain confirms, usually inside half an hour. MelBet does not add a fee of its own on top of network gas.
The licence question
MelBet holds a Curaçao licence. That is the same regulatory tier as most of the crypto books we cover, and it means what it always means: your recourse if something goes wrong is thinner than it would be with a UK or Malta licence. There is no ombudsman with real teeth. Weigh that against the fact the brand has run for over a decade without collapsing, and decide for yourself.
Bonuses
The headline welcome offer is a 100% match on your first deposit. Beyond that, the promotions page changes constantly and varies by country β MelBet runs different offers in Kenya than it does in India. Rollover requirements are not published in one consistent place, which is our main complaint about the brand's transparency. Read the terms attached to whichever offer your account is actually shown before you deposit against it.
Where it falls short
Three things. The licence is offshore-only. Bonus terms are scattered and country-specific rather than documented centrally. And access itself is unreliable in some markets β MelBet leans on mirror domains where its main site is blocked, which works but is not confidence-inspiring if you are new to the brand.
Our take
MelBet is a volume operation, and it is good at being one. The market depth is genuinely strong, the crypto rails work, and a decade of operation counts for something. But it is built for markets we mostly do not write for. If you are in India, Nigeria, Brazil or Canada, it deserves a look. If you are in the US or Western Europe, it is not an option and no amount of VPN cleverness will make it a safe one β accounts get closed and balances get held when geo rules are broken.
Verdict
A decade-old, high-volume international book with real depth in cricket, kabaddi and niche leagues, funded by four coins. Strong for Asia, Africa, LatAm and Canada β closed to the US, the UK and most of the EU.
