Key takeaways

  • A company board expanded its Ether sale limit to 4,375 ETH through October 30.
  • The new cap accounts for nearly 66% of the firm's reported holdings in June.
  • A total of 3,050 ETH of its remaining treasury balance remains pledged.

Publicly traded companies are raiding their corporate crypto stashes. They need fast cash for AI data centers, swapping digital tokens for raw physical hardware.

Liquidating Reserves for AI Infrastructure

4,375 ETH. That's the updated sale cap one firm's board just approved through Oct. 30. That single figure makes up nearly 66% of the total Ether balance on its books back in June.

Pivoting completely doesn't happen overnight. The firm still has 3,050 ETH of its leftover crypto balance locked up as pledged assets.

Why it matters

Corporate treasuries aren't just passive store-of-value bets anymore. When AI hardware and power demands call for huge capital, crypto becomes fast liquidity. If more balance sheets swap their holdings for compute power, these treasury selloffs could put heavy, continuous selling pressure on major tokens like Ether.
